Are there any podium pictures? Where can you find the pics from the top six in each event with the usatf banner behind them?

If USATF is supposedly trying so hard to promote racewalking, then how come I can't find any photo albums, results, or videos of the girls' mile racewalk?

runfan623 - I'm not positive but I believe that each state's own milesplit site gives out the "National Elite Status". So check out if the omitted runners are all from the same states.

What is with this "National Elite Status" that Armory posts? Seems kinda random. In the 5k it gives the honor to 6 runners with times between 17:17 and 19:20, but omits a dozen or so who finished well within that range? Is this just a glitch?

Am I the only one trying to figure out how athletes from Canada were competing in the *US* National Scholastic Indoor Championships?

I just attended the first day of Indoor Nationals at the Armory, it was a great time. I find it very hard to accept the fact that neither Boston or NYC is having a true National Championship Meet. Both meets are happening in the same weekend, and there is great talent at both venues, both not together! If anything it will probably be discouraging to some athletes who do well in one, but they may have not done so well at the other after looking at results. My best example, Soloman Haile broke the national 5k indoor record with 14:22, so we thought! Lukas Verzbikas ran a 14:18 which is the new record. Like I said there was great competition this evening and the athletes that competed did a great job, but if there is going to be a National Championship Meet; there should only be 1.
